The skeletonized baseplate and bridges of the RM 055 have undergone intensive validation tests to maximize their resistance capabilities. As a result, the Caliber RMUL2 movement can withstand accelerations of over 5000 g’s, making it highly durable and reliable.

Enhanced Chronometric Performance

The RM 055 incorporates a free-sprung balance that enhances reliability during shocks, movement assembly or disassembly. Additionally, the elimination of the regulator index allows for more accurate and repeatable calibration.
