Design and Build

The case is composed of three sections assembled with 22 torque screws, making it practically indestructible. True to its diver’s watch lineage, the RM 028 conforms to ISO norms 6425 and boasts a water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM). This is achieved through a three-part case construction and torque screws. The unidirectional bezel prevents miscalculations during diving, ensuring your underwater adventure is safe and enjoyable.

Innovative Rotor

The Richard Mille RM 028 uses a variable-geometry rotor, a groundbreaking innovation that allows the level of automatic winding to be adjusted according to the wearer’s lifestyle. This feature uses two 18ct white gold wings that can be set to adapt the rewinding of the mainspring to the user’s activity level.

Materials

Built with grade 5 titanium, the baseplate and bridges confer great rigidity to the assembly, ensuring precise surface flatness that’s essential for the gear train’s perfect functioning. The components are coated with black PVD or Titalyt®, which underwent extensive validation tests to ensure optimal strength.
