The Royal Oak Offshore Grand Prix takes inspiration as much from Audemars Piguet’s extensive history of sports design as from Formula One racing, of which the brand has been a key sponsor. The result is dynamic, bold and fresh, with lots of purposeful, angular shapes: an imposing bezel that resembles an F1 carbon brake disk, exposed screws, a wheel nut-inspired crown and titanium-shrouded pushers. The dial is even better, with its multilayered textures, colours and extreme attention to detail. The Grand Prix uses proprietary forged carbon in much of the case, and is fitted with the renowned Cal.3126 chronograph movement, 44mm.
