Richard Mille launched a new generation of split-seconds chronograph watches. This technique was achieved to ensure the perfect, long-term, stable and simultaneous functioning of the chronograph mechanism, a feature essential to any high-performance chronograph.
The design and execution of the watch demonstrate a holistic approach to conception of the movement, case and dial. It features a carbon nano fiber tonneau shaped case that is 49mm in surface with a sapphire crystal on the back. The dial is skeletonized with white Arabic numerals, two small sub-dials, and an inner black tachymeter bezel.
It features a function indicator which makes it possible to identify the winding, neutral and hand-setting positions as the crown is pulled out. Powered by the Caliber RM004-V3 manual winding movement and 70hrs power reserve, it is inlaid in a black rubber strap and torque limiting crown.”
