Richard Mille RM 37-01 Sucette Automatic Winding Bonbon Collection in Ceramic and Red Gold Ladies Watch
“This RM 37-01 Sucette (Lollipop) is one of four watches in the Sweets line which, alongside the six flavors in the Fruit line, composes Richard Mille‘s Bonbon collection.
The name “Sucette” is French for “lollipop,” which is a nod to the watch’s colorful, candy-like appearance.
The brand has visually conjured the textures and tastes one expects to encounter on biting into these delicious treats. In this instance, the enamel is sanded and lapidated (smoothed by polishing) to suggest chewy crunchiness.
The tonneau shaped hunter green TZP ceramic case, with its hand polished, micro-blasted, 5N red gold case band with satin finish, measures 52.65 mm x 34.40 mm and 13.08 mm in thickness. The RM 37-01 presents diamond set, 5N red gold hand-enameled dial, with dot hour markers and skeletonized hands.
Visible through the skeletonized sapphire display case back is the power behind the RM 37-01, the calibre CRMA1 with functions including automatic-winding in-house movement with hours, minutes, adjustable rotor geometry, oversized date and function selector, the calibre CRMA1 offers a power reserve of 50 hours. Water resistant up to 50 meters.
The case layers two colors of ceramic, green and grey, for the back and the bezel, while the case band is crafted from 5N red gold that has been satin-finished, micro-blasted then polished by hand. Like all ten models in the collection, the RM 37-01 Sucette is a limited edition of 30 pieces.”
