The dial, accompanied by a blue inner frame, blue cabochon hour markers, and blue leaf-style hands, designed following the blue theme that gave the model its name, is dazzling. There are 367 diamonds (~ 0.56 ct) in the dial, decorated with floral patterns created using the Guilloché technique, hand-engraved on an 18K gold plate.
One of the most notable details of the model is that it has an intensive diamond setting, which is quite dominant in the case part. Extensive diamond-setting, called Iced-Out in today’s luxury watch jargon, can make the big men’s’ watches extremely unpleasant. However, the same situation is very different for elegant women’s timepieces. Patek Philippe 7099G-001 Blue Gondolo is one of the finest examples in this regard. There are a total of 480 (~ 3.31 ct) diamonds on the bezel and sides of the case. The case, with sapphire crystals on both sides, can withstand 30 meters of water pressure.
